Lenda Faye Douglas, (64) was born in Nash County, North Carolina on January 15, 1957 to
the late Joseph Williams and Geraldine Avent.
Lenda went home to be with her savior on September 1, 2021 within the comfort of her residence surrounded by loving family.
Lenda finished thine course and received her crown of righteousness. Allowing her entry into
eternal rest with her Heavenly Father.
Lenda received her education through the Nash and Edgecombe County School System.
Lenda was a dedicated employee of My Guardian Angel Group Home, until her
health began to fail. She became a member of New Destiny
Outreach Ministries and remained faithful.
Lenda proceeded in death by her husband, Carl (Trix) Douglas; two brothers, Thurman (Bo-Pete) Williams and
Timothy Williams.
Lenda was a loving Mother, MeMe, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was loved by many and will be forever missed by us all. She leaves behind her cherished memories one son, Brian Sexton, Sr. (Maryssa) of Havelock, NC.; one daughter, Brandie Peoples of Rocky Mount, NC.; two sisters, Tina Smith (Rodney) and Brenda Bryant (Vernon) of Rocky Mount, NC.; one brother, Joseph S. Williams (Joyce) of Union City, GA.; one aunt, Lillie Harrison of Rocky Mount, NC.; one brother-in-law, Dwayne Douglas (Sharon), father-in-law, Salomon Douglas of Rocky Mount, NC and a very loving son-in-law, Joseph A. Peoples aka Joey of Rocky Mount NC.
Lenda most precious jewels; three granddaughters, Destiny Sexton, Zahria Peoples and Faith Peoples; two grandsons, Brian Sexton, Jr. and Zion Sexton; dear friends, Jane Bryant (Louis), Joyce Lynch (Wesley), Clora Von Mabry, Doris Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
